No Children for Christmas - Judge delays again

If you ever think the United States Judicial system is messed up, think again and look at Uganda. The judge has delayed the ruling another week. This basically wipes out any chance of getting the children home for Christmas. No reasoning or excuse was given why - just another delay. We will now have to cancel our Embassy appointment because we cannot apply for passports for the children (which are required for the Embassy) before we have a Guardianship ruling. These take about 2 weeks if you "know the right people." Because of the holidays the Embassy will likely reschedule in January which means we miss the tax credit for 2010 - another huge set back. I have lost all patience with this process. We started this journey over two years ago. I just want to sit back and scream, cry, vent, yell, hit something etc...

This was probably the worst news we could have received today. I wish that these judges would just put the children first for once.

Sorry to hear....Just remember to trust in Him, for He has a plan. All the time God is good, God is good all the time. God bless and you are in our prayers!

Maybe we can have Christmas again for Valentine's Day, and then Valentine's Day can be a big meaningful celebration every year for a long time to come. Just keep trusting and be familiar with the scriptures to remind yourself that patience and trust are often very long-term processes. Love you guys.

We are heartbroken and wish we could do something to ease your hurt and make this process easier. Please don't ever give up and just know there is a reason for everything. Somehow, sometime this will all work out and things will fall into place and you WILL finally be able to get these sweet children here to live with you forever!! We love all of you very, very much and wish we could speed things up. We will keep praying for that special day.

I am so sick and heartbroken for you guys! It's OK to be mad, angry, and frustrated...just remember that it will soon pass and knowing you..you will put it to good use and press on like you always have. You are so amazingly strong and I know this whole mess will be SO worth it in the end. I love you!!!
