The big day finally came and Keira finally turned ONE! We were really crossing our fingers for good weather to hold out. We had a cotton candy machine and KEIRA LOVED it. Uncle derek wouldn't stop giving it to her. I think everyone had a good time. We started with 6' Giant subs from Subway. We then played "Keira Bingo". Each square represented something different about Keira throughout her first year of life. The winners got small prizes.
We finally got to Keiras presents and she made out like a bandit. You wouldn't believe how many new toys and clothes she got. I think her favorite toys would have to be the toy Winnie the Pooh ride a long. She wanted it so much she got 2! She also got her Care Bear (Luv a lot bear), Rainy (her build a bear we made the week before) and ALOT of clothes and books. Thanks again to everyone that was able to make it. It really meant alot to us.
After presents we gave Keira her cake. It was a Care Bear cake that Natalie and Katie made. They did an amazing job. Keira was hesitant at first but then got the hang of eating all the cake she wanted. It was real cute.
